About Helene

Sought after as a pianist, chamber musician, song accompanist, Helene gives concerts and teaches in Berlin, New York, and in France. 

Born to an American mother and French father she entered the Paris Conservatory at age 12 to study with Germaine Mounier. After obtaining her first prizes in piano and chamber music, she continued her studies at Indiana University under the guidance of Gyorgy Sebok, and later on with Menahem Pressler, for whom she became Professor Assistant in Bloomington.  She also holds a Professional degree from the Juilliard School with Jerome Lowenthal. Throughout her career, she has worked with several artists, including Gaby Casadesus, Yevgeni Malinin, Nikita Magaloff, and Isaac stern.
